1.Contract Redemption Offer

1.1 Applicable for customers with an existing iPhone / smartphone contract

If you have an existing iPhone / smartphone contract, you can pay a one-off contract redemption fee on the existing smartphone contract and sign a new specified contract (dependent on model and service plan) to get one of the latest smartphones.

Terms and Conditions for these Offers
  • Under this contract redemption offer, customers must subscribe to an iPhone SuperCare Smartphone Plan with handset subscription (6GB) or / a designated SuperCare Smartphone Plan with handset subscription (6GB) data or above) / a designated SuperCare Family Plan with handset subscription or a designated iPhone SuperCare Smartphone Plan with dual handset subscription.
  • For customers with more than one smartphone contracts, the contract redemption offer will only apply to the customer's last designated smartphone contract with the furthermost contract end date.
  • The remaining rebate of redeemed phones will be net off in the Contract Redemption Fee.
  • The above generated contract redemption fee is for reference only. The fee will be finalised upon signing the new contract.
  • The new phone under contract redemption offer must not be the same as the phone that is being redeemed. Please ask our store assistants for details.

1.2 Applicable for customers with an existing designated SIM Only plan with subscription / retention offer

If you have an existing designated SIM Only plan contract, you can pay a one-off contract redemption fee or liquidated damages (which is equivalent to the sum of the monthly fee of the designated SIM Only plan multiplied by the remaining months of the contract term), whichever is the lowest, on the existing designated SIM Only plan contract and sign a new specified contract (dependent on model and service plan) to get one of the latest smartphones.

The contract redemption fee depends on the designated SIM Only plan contract and the subscription / retention offer being selected. Please ask our store assistants for details of the applicable designated SIM Only plan, subscription / retention offer, contract redemption fee or liquidated damages. The contract redemption fee or liquidated damages will be charged in the next bill month.

Terms and Conditions for these Offers
  • Applicable for customers who have subscribed to the designated SIM Only plan offers including but not limited to premium, handset / accessories discount, roaming dollars, voucher, monthly rebate etc.
  • Under this contract redemption offer, customers must subscribe to an iPhone SuperCare Smartphone Plan with handset subscription / a designated SuperCare Smartphone Plan with handset subscription / a designated SuperCare Family Plan with handset subscription / a designated iPhone SuperCare Smartphone Plan with dual handset subscription or another designated SIM Only plan offer.
  • The following terms shall apply upon signing a new iPhone / smartphone / Family contract or a new designated SIM Only plan contract and paying the contract redemption fee or liquidated damages:
    i)   The monthly fee of new iPhone / smartphone / Family contract or a new designated SIM Only plan contract ("New Plan") must be higher than the monthly fee of the designated SIM Only plan under the previously signed contract.
    ii)   The monthly fee and entitlement of New Plan takes effect immediately and will apply until the expiration of the new iPhone / smartphone contract or the new designated SIM Only plan contract.

2.Stack a New Smartphone Contract

2.1 Applicable for customers with an existing iPhone / smartphone contract

You can stack your existing iPhone / smartphone contract on top of a new iPhone / smartphone contract for an extended contract term as described below. Subject to relevant Terms & Conditions.

Example:

Outstanding months under existing smartphone contract: 10 months
Subscribe to an iPhone X plan and sign contract for an additional 24 months
The total contract term is now 34 months. The new plan takes effect immediately.
Terms and Conditions for these Offers
  • A customer cannot have more than three smartphones contracts at the same time.
  • Under the contract stacking, customers must subscribe to an iPhone SuperCare Smartphone Plan with handset subscription / a designated SuperCare Smartphone Plan with handset subscription / a designated SuperCare Family Plan with handset subscription or a designated iPhone SuperCare Smartphone Plan with dual handset subscription.
  • The following terms shall apply upon signing a new iPhone / smartphone / Family contract:
    i)   The monthly fee of new iPhone / smartphone / Family contract ("New Plan") must be higher than the monthly fee of the plan under the previously signed contract.
    ii)   The monthly fee and entitlement of New Plan takes effect immediately and will apply until the expiration of the new iPhone / smartphone / Family contract.
    iii)   (If applicable) Where a Customer with an existing fixed term contract stacks a contract of an iPhone SuperCare Smartphone Plan (6GB) with handset subscription / a designated SuperCare Smartphone Plan (6GB) with handset subscription or a designated iPhone SuperCare Smartphone Plan with dual handset subscription and opts for free FUP Unlimited Data / Additional Data as reward or the New Plan includes free FUP Unlimited Data / Additional Data before the expiration of the existing contract, the free FUP Unlimited Data (when monthly data usage has reached the plan’s data allowance ) / Additional Data will take effect upon the expiration of the existing contract. At the end of the free offer period for FUP Unlimited Data, unless the customer gives not less than 30 days prior notice to terminate the service, the Company will continue to provide the service charged at the prevailing rate.
    iv)   (If applicable) Where a customer with an existing fixed term contract for FUP Unlimited Data stacks a contract of an iPhone SuperCare Smartphone Plan (6GB) with handset subscription / a designated SuperCare Smartphone Plan (6GB) with handset subscription or a designated iPhone SuperCare Smartphone Plan with dual handset subscription and opts for free FUP Unlimited Data / Additional Data as reward or the New Plan includes free FUP Unlimited Data / Additional Data, the monthly charge under existing contract remains payable until such term expires. The free FUP Unlimited Data (when monthly data usage has reached the plan's data allowance ) / Additional Data will take effect upon the expiration of the existing contract for FUP Unlimited Data . At the end of the free offer period for FUP Unlimited Data, unless the customer gives not less than 30 days prior notice to terminate the service, the Company will continue to provide the service charged at the prevailing rate.
    v)   The total contract term is the summarisation of the remaining contractual period of previous contract term (if applicable) and the contract months of the newly signed contract.
